This depends on the activity vendor’s policy. Typically, most vendors allow refunds and cancellations up until 72 hours before your activity date. Within the 72 hour period, however, they usually charge a fee. No matter when you cancel, we will charge you a 10% processing fee.

When it comes to rescheduling, you can generally do so 24 hours before your activity date, and there is no fee for that.

Hawaii state law requires that we all pay a 4.166% General Excise Tax for any goods or services, including activities. An additional 3% Harbor Tax applies to ocean activities. Helicopters, boats and some bike tours have fuel surcharges, as well. Before you make your payment, you will see all those fees, and they are included in your final purchase price.

Yes, for the most part, all of our tours are safe and fun. Some tours do have safety restrictions when it comes to height, weight, back and joint issues, recent surgeries, and/or pregnancy. Typically, island trade winds pick up between 12:00 and 2:00 pm and last throughout the day. We usually recommend going on the morning snorkel cruises, because that is when the water is most beautiful and calm. The same is true for helicopter tours; when the winds aren’t blowing, the ride will be much smoother, and the pilot can fly closer to the waterfalls. But if an afternoon tour works best for you, go for it! These tours can be just as much fun later in the day, and we never know what the weather will be like, as it can change very quickly.
