As you depart from Port Allen on the Garden Isle’s southwest side, soak in the sights as you head north. Keep your eyes trained for the Pacific humpback whales (seasonal), spinner and bottlenose dolphins, green sea turtles and even flying fish!
The Na Pali dinner cruise follows the coastline, and with excellent conditions can bring you up close to the bubbling waterfalls flowing from the cliffs. The outgoing crew members chat with guests and share their wealth of knowledge about Hawaiian legends, myths and folklore as well as the history of Kauai. The oldest in the main island chain, the mountains and ridges show how over time, erosion from wind and water can take its toll on the some of the earlier lava flows. As you begin to sail your way back to the port, the crew opens the Hawaiian style luau buffet and bar.
