Explore the island in an off road adventure sure to be the highlight of your vacation. Kauai ATV Koloa Tour will provide everything you need for a safe and comfortable ride. Check in to their shop in Koloa Town and meet the friendly crew. They’ll get you outfitted with helmets, shirts, shorts and goggles. Make sure to bring your own sturdy, closed toed shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. From here you’ll hop in to their van to take your small group to the trail’s starting point.
Listen as the guides go over a thorough set of instructions including safety and operation of your vehicles. The staff of Kauai ATV are CPR and First Aid certified and hold your safety as their top priority. They also assure heart pounding, dirty fun and adventure!
If there are just two in your party, choose the Mudbug! The Ohana (Family) Bug has seating for four. Both are fast, stable and fun! All licensed participants can switch drivers throughout the course.
Drive over trails of the old Koloa Plantation, the site of the first commercially successful sugar mill in Hawaii. Part of the trail drives right through a big tunnel once used to haul sugar cane on the plantation. Along with a rich Hawaiian and industrial history, sightsee Hollywood’s history as well while you check out sites where famous movies have been filmed.
Next, head over to the shoreline of Waita Reservoir. This huge fresh water reservoir is not only peaceful and picturesque, but also a popular spot for bass fishing! The Kauai ATV Koloa Tour will also provide a deli style lunch including a sandwich, chips, cookie and water.
The crew will be wielding cameras, so prepare for lots of awesome pictures of your group! Make sure to pick up a thumb drive of your photos to bring home. The dirt may wash off, but your memories will last forever!

These tours are not suitable for pregnant women or guests with bad backs or serious health concerns.
Participants must be 5 years and older, drivers must be over 16 years old with valid ID. Weight restriction of 320 lbs.
Bring towels, bug spray, sunscreen, and water-friendly footwear (NO flip-flops).
